The end of year 2011.

At last, this year will end soon. In this year, I faced a lot of difficulties such as TOEFL, GMAT, Essays, and so on; however, to overcome these things, I learned a lot of things, too. Utmost, I met a lot of comrades to beat these difficulties. The friendship will last forever and memories of this year will last forever in my mind.

I am truly hoping for fortune in the next year and believe that I will be in my dream school in the end of next year.

I wish best fortune for all of you readers for coming year!

Math

また、The elements of StyleというNativeがWritingを

A Lucky Boy

Today, I will talk about my story of how I decide and prepare for applying for MBA programs. 2 years before, I held a study group to motivate ourselves to solve social and economical problems in Japan. In each study meeting, we have one or two guest speeches from successful persons and one of the guest speakers was the person who recommended me to aim at top US MBA schools. She said that if I want to tackle the economical difficulties in Japan as a government officer, I need to study real economy and business in a MBA program. Especially, in US MBA programs, there are very competent class mates. Because she was a professional career adviser, she can introduce a person I should ask for advice. After meeting with the adviser, I decided to aim at top US MBA programs. However, my TOEFL score was terrible and the adviser said I should study English urgently. If I had not met her and the adviser, I would not have decided early enough and lost a chance to get a sponsorship form the government. Anyway, after I decided to study English hard, he introduced two professional English coach who gave me advices about what should I study from the point of view of the progress of my study. My success to get over 100 on the TOEFL fully depends on them. The accidental meeting with the career counselor as a guest speaker of my study group led the next luck; the meeting with the adviser, then, it led the third one; meeting with good coaches, which, eventually, let me get over 100 on the TOEFL. In my life, I have always been helped by good lucks like this. Maybe, I will continue find chances and tie it to my success. I think next luck will come from the experience and meeting in a MBA program.

Congratulations! Japan won the AFC!

I’m very proud of Japanese National soccer team which won the asian football championship. Japan faced a lot of difficult matches in this championship such as against Korea, Qatar and Jordan. I think these difficult matches were good opportunities for Japan to improve their relationship among team mates and staffs, which eventually led Japan to win the championship. Although Japan had a lot of problems such as injury of Kagawa and Matsui, who are very important player in the team, weak defense line and lack of stamina to continue running all the match, they overcame them and won each matches. Every matches were dramatic like novel or movie. I suspect that most of Japanese soccer fans thought Japan would lose the match against Jordan and Qatar; however, they did not lose the match. Moreover, the match against Korea was the most difficult. I did not imagine such a dramatic result; Japan won the match after PK match by 3-0. In the PK match, Japanese GK, Kawashima, played a amazingly well; he stopped two kikker and did not allow them to get any gaol. In fact, Qatar where was the place the championship was held was the place Japanese have trauma that Japanese National team lose the final match against Iran due to a goal in added time and lost the ticket to attend the France world cup, so this success in Qatar allows us to forget the painful history. Congratulations!
