この週末にはDeltaのリスニング問題を
いくつか解きました。
いろいろなところでDeltaの問題は質が高い
といわれていますが、難易度は本番よりも
やややさしめかと思います。
In this weekend, I study some listening problem sets of Delta. Although I often hear that Delta's problems sets are high quality, they are slightly easier than true TOEFL problems.
リスニングのスクリプトは少し時間が短め
ですが、スピードはやや速め、内容は本番と
それほど変わらないと思います。
難易度を下げているのはむしろ、設問の
選択肢で微妙なものが少ないということ
だと思います。正解以外があからさまに
間違えているのである程度聞けていれば
答えがわかってしまいます。
I think that the scripts is little shorter, the speed is little faster, and the contents is the same level as true TOEFL test. The main reason for decreasing the level is the fact that the choices of each problem are easily distinguished. The false choices are clearly false and I can easily choose true choice by understanding roughly the contents of the lecture.
ただ、面白いことに、読み上げの音質が
非常に悪いため、本番に近い感覚で
取り組むことができます。
なんというか、安い貸しオフィスで安い
マイクで録音した感じです。
本番の音質よりもさらにしょぼいので
逆に練習になっていいです。
In addition, the quality of sound and voice are amazingly worse than the other books or even a true TOEFL test, which allows me to practice them in the similar situation as true TOEFL test. Of course, the quality of the sound and voice of true TOEFL test is quite bad. I suspect that they are recorded by the cheap devices in the cheap office.
最近、TOEFLに特化した勉強に軸足を
移したので次回のTOEFLでは基礎力の
向上が点数に反映されてくると期待して
います（タイムラグで次々回になる可能性
もありますが・・・。）
Because, recently, I started to study for TOEFL itself, I expect that my base ability reflects on the score of the next TOEFL. Of course, I should consider the time lag of increasing the score.
